Flex-Sleeve is a braided sleeving which is manufactured from high bulk texturized fiberglass yarns. Flex-Sleeve is used in demanding environments where temperatures reach up to 1000 degrees F. (538 degrees C.). Due to its unique construction, the sleeving fits easily over hoses and cables yet provides a snug fit. It offers greater wall thickness at a nominal weight increase thereby providing better insulation against heat. Features and Benefits

Because Flex-Sleeve is manufactured by the unique braiding process, it is extremely flexible, allows for expansion, and easily conforms to shapes and contours. It finds ready application as an insulation and/or protective covering in a variety of industries.

Applications

Flex-Sleeve is used to insulate steam tracer lines in oil refineries, as thermal and electrical insulation for the wire and cable industry, in glass manufacturing, for covering tines in metal refining, foundries and steel mills, and wherever else a high temperature barrier might be required.
